00:00 Did You Know Mulligan Had His Own Day?
00:05 Intro
00:15 Today is National Mulligan Day!

Speaker 1:

Did you know Mulligan had his own day. Welcome to next time.

Speaker 3:

Okay, got the clipboard out. It's getting legit official.

Speaker 2:

Yes today is National Mulligan Day. In case you didn't know, October 17th is National Mulligan Day. What?

Speaker 1:

is National Mulligan Day.

Speaker 2:

Well, mulligan is commonly used in games such as golf. The term Mulligan drives from the 1920s, when Canadian golfer David Mulligan made a mistake during a game and retook a shot. Since then, to call a Mulligan means the chance to try again. Okay so and this is something that was online Everyone deserves to have a second chance in life, right? And this is what National Mulligan Day is all about. If you don't succeed at first, try and try again. After all, we aren't all perfect. I mean, yeah, some of us, some of us aren't perfect. We are going to make mistakes. Some of us, we should not feel bad about doing something wrong.

Speaker 3:

We should see it as an opportunity to learn and to do it better the following time Interesting no, I like that. That's a cool concept. It's about second chances, right yeah.

Speaker 2:

So here's my question If there was something in your life that you could do over or have a second chance at what would it be?

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a tough one.

Speaker 3:

I know that's very tough because without the mistakes I don't know that I'd be where I'm at Right. You know what I mean. So that's a toughie because in the moment I'm like man, I wish I could take this back. But in retrospect, when you look back, a lot of times you're like ah, that was such a turning point.

Speaker 2:

I see, and for me there's more than one, so which one do I choose? Yeah, that's what I mean. It's not real.

Speaker 3:

For real. Let's just see here though.

Speaker 1:

Like you, george, are saying I don't know if I would want to go back, because all the lessons you've learned I mean the so many different decisions has so many different consequences and different paths that you could take.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so haven't you seen those movies? I know when do you go back in time and you screw it up, you messed the whole world up.

Speaker 1:

What are you?

Speaker 3:

trying to do so definitely don't want to redo Hello.

Speaker 1:

I think there's definitely there's regrets. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Far too often we all wait for a Mulligan day or, for, you know, New Year's or whatever to make a resolution or to say I want to do this or do that. Make a change or to, like you were saying, to evaluate the route that you're going and say, oh you know, maybe I should change course a little bit. Yeah, it's like far too often we're waiting for that special day when we should be thinking about it every day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

You know, I think that's one good thing about having quiet time with God, having divisions in the morning or evening, whenever.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because you can't evaluate. Yeah, and you know, have a Mulligan moment.

Speaker 3:

I like that. It's true, mulligan moment Mulligan moment.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a great opportunity to do that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, I know, I love it.

Speaker 1:

I like that. I need to have more.

Speaker 3:

Mulligan moments.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know, because every day I feel like we're always, you know, doing stuff and we get into our head or our routine or whatever, and we, just, we don't one step forward, three steps back.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And more Mulligan moments is a good thing yeah.

Speaker 3:

So I'm really trying to struggle in here because I really want to have a Mulligan moment that we can share. Yeah, I feel like we haven't shared any Mulligan moments.

Speaker 1:

Well, we actually had our own Mulligan moment.

Speaker 3:

We did With the show, with the show.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about See Mulligan moment.

Speaker 3:

We realized that the show sucked. Okay, and y'all weren't watching.

Speaker 1:

So we realized it was just time for a format change. Yeah yeah, Trying new things. We know that we were your favorites.

Speaker 3:

Right, oh yeah, but we understand that. Just watching us every day or Twice a week, twice a week, yeah, you know we've got a lot of episodes out. Yeah, we do, and I'm very proud of that. You know we've worked hard. You guys have done a lot, you know, and so having that Mulligan moment has been, you know prayerfully that it will be a huge blessing for all of us and a blessing for you guys watching. And then we get to. You know, try this over again and rebrand and have fun. And we got lots of cool things.

Speaker 1:

Oh, we do. We're so excited for the new season.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, the big stuff coming up. So I'm super excited and hopefully we get more people involved.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so let us know what your Mulligan moment has been or is. Are you currently in the moment In a Mulligan moment? We're kind of still in our Mulligan moment. We are rebranding.

Speaker 1:

So tell us how we're doing what you think we should do, what we could do, and we'll do what we can, Because we want to move forward and make the Mulligan moment successful.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, till next time Till.

Speaker 2:

Next time Till next time.
